This is my first review of a coffee shop. I hang out a lot to coffee shops, NOT very often go to malls, except ones which have good coffee shops. Okay, there is nothing wrong with malls, but I think that malls are too crowded and I don't get any chance to have quality time. My version of quality time is a good talk plus laugh with people I love, or simply a good feeling of being alone -not intimidated by communal crowd.

For me, good coffee can be a good company when I am alone, away from being lonely.

This is KOPI BAR. A coffee shop located in Depok, not so far from your place if you are in southern part of Jakarta. This place has a very cozy, though not so big in space. They have what it takes to be a good coffee shop (in my viewpoint); good coffee and other beverages, and some snacks. They serve good food, tho, but in limited-seected items.
Coffee: They will give you various choice of coffee, from single origin to mocca to hot chocolate. As I am a fan of single origins, I feel satisfied here, for they have Toraja, Gayo, Mandailing, and Sunda Hejo. Enough for me as a starter of coffee-lover. When it comes to serving method, they don't have so many tho. They only serve you with Vietnam drips. It's okay, tho, really.
Not a coffee person? Don't worry, they have various tea and others! (wink)
Price range: Starts from 20k. This place won't break your bank account I promise.
Interior: Good, brown-ish kind of ambience, both light and furniture. They have two sections; in and out venue. Outside part of the room reminds me of some cafes in Paris. You can exactly smoke there, bunnies!

Things you will see: (1) Books. You can read some books -apparetly owner-owned books, while sipping your single origin cups. (2) LCD TVs. Yes, they have two! One is operating without sound, and the other one is used to play video games or watching DVDs. Kool, eh?
Crowd: I promise you will find many kind of people here, from hipster to girls-next-door. That is why I love being here. But overall, a lot of college students coming here because this coffee shop is located around some campuses.
